So like, I heard many people talk stories about how travellers would come across the ocean/ come to Africa, see nothing but straw houses and mud houses and all that bull shit/ (but) we know the truth man/ Black man is God/ we’ve been God/ our story is a story not of just earth /it’s a story of the galaxy and the solar system/ it’s a story of strife and hardships but overcoming/ so black man is God/ black God manifest/ is the mantra I use on a daily / to invoke something in me, (that is) the essence of godliness that I travel with through space and time/ now my black skin has allowed me to travel through space and time/ as I can absorb the sun light and turn that to life/ I can absorb your hate and turn that to life/ put me in a space with radiation and inhabitable conditions/ find me there thriving/ black people are everywhere man/ you see us in the ghettos/ you see us in the suburbs/ you see us in the fucken hood/ you see us everywhere/ and that is testament to how godly we are/ Because god is in everything/ now also the idea of being black is not just a skin colour / it’s an orientation/ I see myself/ my world is shaped by my understanding of being black/ even being black shapes other people’s thought about me/ it’s a directional being/ and my existence alone/ Is testament of gods being/ like I say/ we everywhere/ there is no where we cannot survive/ we are intergalactic beings/and on top of that we travel with a dynasty of kings in us/ ancestors are strengths that are weaknesses, that are us, that are god /

The Black Man is God / is not a statement about a person / it’s not a statement about a race/ because yes/ one can chop it down to Man and Black/ but is a statement is about God/ God Is / find God in you and don’t wait for someone else to show you God / be testament of God in what you do/ your actions/ your words/ your presence / light the room up / be the light in the room/ that’s exactly what God is / Don’t let them take your light away / being black is not taking your light away / we absorb all light/ we are all colors/ we are everything/ so be that/ show them that.
