Poetry [Tony Dangler] // So like, I heard many people talk stories about how travellers would come across the ocean/ come to Africa, see nothing but straw houses and mud houses and all that bull shit/ (but) we know the truth man/ Black man is God/ we’ve been God/ our story is a story not of just earth /it’s a story of the galaxy and the solar system/ it’s a story of strife and hardships but overcoming/ so black man is God/ black God manifest/ is the mantra I use on a daily / to invoke something in me, (that is) the essence of godliness that I travel with through space and time/ now my black skin has allowed me to travel through space and time/ as I can absorb the sun light and turn that to life/ I can absorb your hate and turn that to life/ put me in a space with radiation and inhabitable conditions/ find me there thriving/ black people are everywhere man/ you see us in the ghettos/ you see us in the suburbs/ you see us in the fucken hood/ you see us everywhere/ and that is testament to how godly we are/ Because god is in everything/ now also the idea of being black is not just a skin colour / it’s an orientation/ I see myself/ my world is shaped by my understanding of being black/ even being black shapes other people’s thought about me/ it’s a directional being/ and my existence alone/ Is testament of gods being/ like I say/ we everywhere/ there is no where we cannot survive/ we are intergalactic beings/and on top of that we travel with a dynasty of kings in us/ ancestors are strengths that are weaknesses, that are us, that are god / The Black Man is God / is not a statement about a person / it’s not a statement about a race/ because yes/ one can chop it down to Man and Black/ but is a statement is about God/ God Is / find God in you and don’t wait for someone else to show you God / be testament of God in what you do/ your actions/ your words/ your presence / light the room up / be the light in the room/ that’s exactly what God is / Don’t let them take your light away / being black is not taking your light away / we absorb all light/ we are all colors/ we are everything/ so be that/ show them that.

When my skin covers the area of where God ends and God Begins/planet earth's first populant, carry my ancestors with me, they Uber pool in my consciousness/I'm from this continent/Where black is beautiful, ain't it obvious? (I said) Where black is beautiful, ain't it obvious? (I said) Where black is beautiful, ain't it obvious!? Chorus: The black man is God x4 Poetry verse (Tony): Earth wind water fire, all shades of the spectrum my entire existence inspired by silent space/(I said) my home's in the stars, I'm tryna trace/back to a time where blackness wasn't just a sign of race/Where culture was a place when spirituality and science mate// Chorus: The black man is God x 4 Poetry verse (Tony): From Kemet to Timbuktu, down to Mapungubwe/I represent all that is black from a Tuesday to a Tuesday to a Tuesday to a Tuesday to a Tuessssssssday. Black in my skin, black in my speaking. As black as a desert evening/spend my evenings, dancing with the moon mother/my days mapped out on Adam's Calendar ngsahamb umhlaba, skin speaking the language of the universe, skin speaking the language of the universe. So remember a time before your human birth/coz what is God was you at first, what is God was you at first, what is God was you at first. Chorus: The black man is God x 4 (Beat changes pace) Verse (Darkie): ng'umuntu omnyana ngiyazazi/ khohlwa esxukwini sa bo ngamula angifakazi /ng’shintsha ubuso ngathi ngobona igazi lalabafazi//ng’vele nkwhwaze ugazi / asenze once s’vele sibasacaze/ s’cove inyuku sishintshe/ s’chele sibamangaze/sbheme sibakhathaze/ sibe sihlenka sibahlakaze / ungabi ne stress /umagistrate uyamokoleka / ungazikhathazi and even worse lonke I docket liya deletheka abantu maw’bazi / sho ! seng’ngal’kguzula ngama gama/ le beat/ ngiyagula ngathi ngozula nginama gama / ng’hlula abanamanga / maseng’hamba / ndlula bangamanga / na ley’Febe zinjeng’Bhede akudlulwa kungalalwanga / ngazi ezinye izinja rximbi/ ezifunda kungabhalwanga / izinja eziqala zitshontsha I idlul’inga khalanga / awusuli ungabambanga / jozi awulikhulumi ungalihambanga / ntwana cabanga indlu yomlungu awuyiphuli ungal’hambanga / s’khula singa jabulanga/ bo ngeke ukhule unga ganganga/ ngkfana nokuthi makushuba angeke uphumi\e ungajampanga / ukuthi I kaar ayinaskhiya/iduma singfakwanga / uyazi umuntu omnyama akajabuli kungalhalwanga Chorus: The black man is God x 4 So its peace to the gods of the earth, peace to the gods on the earth (x14) Ay the black man… The black man…

Young Note :

The Band is composed of phat experienced cats from different sounds but brought together through the energy and sound of Hip Hop which they all share. The group you can say has been in God existence since they all walked the path, Tony Dangler is form this formidable group South Africa has ever heard yo Revivolution which is that tea you want on your stage too, Tony has traveled around festivals, countries, attending different fields of hip hop and by then he is mad conquering turfs & on the other hand you got the other vocalist Darkie, the gravel walker underground railroad cat, moves steadily and hits hard, from the streets of Jabulani Soweto he forms part of Jangalala Hip Hop group that has dominated Soweto and moved in to stay. Darkie keeps it raw with his tongue and lashes out when he spits. You got this mad scientist on the Guitar who walks the tracks with mad hard ease, keeping you not moving, to hear the bass whew, fammmm!! what a phat bass Halaga kicks there, he keeps it authentic hip hop and jazz that's raw and cut to the point and how he drives it ahh fam, ayikho enye. The drums drive you hard, keeping you between lines of raw hip hop but a slap of rock you get moved, that's testament of how Godly this sound becomes once it starts playing.....
